All bookings with Husky Holidays are subject to confirmation and are therefore ‘on request’ until confirmed.

Within our Booking Policy, Husky Holidays may be referred to as “Husky Holidays”, “we” or “us”.

Within our Booking Policy, you, the participant / guest may be referred to as “you”, “the participant” or “guest”.

The bookings process is as follows:

  • once a trip has been identified and duration, cost and particulars are confirmed and agreed upon between guest and Husky Holidays, Husky Holidays will require a 10% deposit (bank details below).
  • *Husky Holiday advises that travel insurance is taken out from this point – insurance should start from the date a holiday is booked, not for the date of travel incase of any cancellations or unforeseen changes.*
  • Upon receipt of the deposit Husky Holidays will reach out to its ground team to confirm the booking in place (24-48hrs).
  • If the requested departure date is unavailable Husky Holidays will offer an alternative date where possible. If no alternative dates are acceptable Husky Holidays will issue a full refund of the 10% deposit taken.
  • Assuming the trip is confirmed, Husky Holidays will then issue confirmation details.
  • Husky Holidays does not arrange flights. We strongly advise that flights are NOT booked until the trip is confirmed.
  • Final payment will be due 60 days prior to start date of the tour, and a reminder will be sent out via email at 90 days prior.
  • A late payment fee will be added to any outstanding payments that have missed the 60 day deadline at a rate of £1.50 per day per booking.

If You Cancel Before Final Payment is Made

Once the trip is confirmed, a refund of the 10% deposit cannot be issued. This is because once the trip has been confirmed both Husky Holidays and our ground team will incur non-refundable charges for having secured the booking in place.

If a trip has been confirmed but final payment has not yet been made, then should ‘you’ need to cancel your departure date, no further charges will be incurred.

If a trip has been confirmed but final payment has not yet been made, then should ‘you’ need to change your departure date, Husky Holidays will identify and offer available alternatives (if available). Any charges incurred for changing the departure date will be passed on to ‘you’. These will be made clear prior to confirmation.

If you Cancel After Final Payment is Made

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of the tour. Once final payment has been made a refund cannot be issued.

Once final payment has been taken, should there ‘you’ need to postpone the trip, Husky Holidays will do what it can to rearrange the departure date but this must be done within the same season. Any charges incurred for changing the departure date will be passed on to ‘you’. These will be made clear prior to confirmation.

Protections

In accordance with the Package Travel Regulations 1992, all client payments are held in trust until the satisfactory completion of their holiday. All Husky Holiday trip payments are protected and held in bonded trust.

Husky Holidays strongly advises that flights are not booked until Husky Holidays has confirmed your trip.

Husky Holidays strongly advises that travel insurance is obtained before placing a deposit so that your entire booking is protected.

For further protection you can get additional cover with supplied failure insurance – useful if you are booking flights directly with an airline that does not offer an ATOL protection.

Additionally, payments to Husky Holidays can be made by credit card to give you security under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act of 1974.
