Pallas-Yllas Adventure: Come and enjoy the fascinating beauty of Lappish nature on four different tours situated right on the edge of the renowned Pallas-Ylläs National Park.
Tour 1: Firstly, during the reindeer safari you will experience a still existing ancient habitat.
Tour 2: The second portion of your programme is via snowmobile where you will discover the beauty of the fells and forests.
Tour 3: Thirdly, you will make a 2-day dog-sled safari into the wilderness where you can enjoy the silence and beauty of the nature and learn new skills in fire making for the cabin and sauna and look after the feeding of your team of dogs.
Tour 4: Finally, on this trip you will have 2-days to select activities of your choosing. Choose from activities including going cross-country skiing, a leisurely walk, or go on a snow-shoe tour. Perhaps, you just want to have a day to relax, and enjoy this amazing winter wonderland.

Kittila Airport, Finland
Transfer from Kittilä airport to your accommodation base. Accommodation in hotel double rooms or own cabin in nearby open woodland (supplement) or riverside log cabin (supplement). Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, visit a traditional 100 year old reindeer farm where you will be taught about a reindeer’s life which will give you information about reindeer breeding habits, and the role that reindeer play in the Lapp culture. You will also see a small exhibition of old traditional tools and things on the premises. Coffee will be served around an open fire in a typical Lapp tent. After the coffee you will be with the reindeer herders, who will tell about the reindeer and reindeer husbandry.
They will show you how to catch the reindeer with the Lappish lasso, and you can practise it yourself. After you have helped the reindeer herders to harness the reindeer you start the 7km safari through the forest with one or two persons in the sledge. Lunch will be served around an open fire during the safari. In the afternoon return to the hotel / cabin Sauna, dinner and overnight.
Our experienced guides will show you how to drive the snowmobile and you will spend the day driving through the Fell scenery and over the frozen lakes. Lunch by an open fire in the wilderness. 2 people per snowmobile. Duration of the excursion approximately 5 hours, the distance driven 60 to 80km. Sauna, dinner and overnight at hotel / cabin.
After breakfast you pack your equipment and after a short transfer you can get acquainted with the happy huskies. You will be taught how to handle the sled and then you leave for the two day safari. Lunch by an open fire en route. Everybody drives their own dog team of 4-5 dogs. You will drive about 25 km to a wilderness cabin with shared facilities where you will take care of feeding your dogs, have sauna, dinner and stay overnight in cabin.
Today you will cover a distance of around 25km to 30km. Lunch by campfire en-route. In the afternoon you will return to the hotel / cabin. Sauna, evening meal and overnight.
This day is free for your own activities. You can go cross-country skiing or downhill skiing is possible on the nearby Olos-Fell. Visit Torassieppi Snow Village. Or what about a snow-shoe tour or maybe you would just like to relax. After having a relaxing sauna you will have a farewell dinner with Lapp specialities. Overnight at hotel or cabin
Breakfast and transfer to Kittilä airport with lots of happy memories.
